At the end of 2010, the National Minorities Commission issued the National Plan for the Implementation of National Ministries' Key Work in the Near Future (2010-2012), which has brought warmth to ethnic medicine. Compared with the 2007 guidance, this implementation plan is more specific and more maneuverable. The plan clearly stated that the central government will allocate special funds to plan to strengthen the construction of the infrastructure conditions of the existing government-run ethnic medical hospitals and improve the conditions for medical treatment. The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine has selected 10 ethnic medical hospitals to carry out the construction of the second batch of key national medical hospitals on the basis of completing the construction of the first 10 key national medical hospital projects.
