Jiangsu's foreign trade import and export breaks 400 billion US dollars for the first time

According to the Nanjing Customs, the total import and export value of Jiangsu's foreign trade exceeded US$400 billion in the first 11 months of this year, reaching US$421.49 billion, a record high.

From January to November, Jiangsu's foreign trade volume increased by 38.8% year-on-year, accounting for 15.7% of the total national import and export value over the same period; of which, exports accounted for 245.15 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 17.2% of the country's total export value; imports totaled 176.34 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for the total value of imports nationwide. 14.1%. The accumulated trade surplus reached USD 68.81 billion, a year-on-year increase of 27.3%.

In the first 11 months, the EU was still the first trading partner of Jiangsu, with a total import and export value of 79.84 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 39.5%. Among them, exports to the EU were 63.32 billion U.S. dollars and imports from the EU were 16.52 billion U.S. dollars. In the same period, Jiangsu imported and exported US$64.19 billion to the United States, and imported and exported US$51.06 billion to Japan.
