The breathing valve is used to install the main safety equipment on fixed top storage tanks such as crude oil, gasoline, kerosene, light diesel oil, aromatics, etc. It is used for evaporation loss and protection of the tank from being damaged when subjected to overpressure or vacuum. Breathing valves are often used with flame arresters. In order to use the safety of the breathing valve , the corrugated fire-retardant layer should be removed regularly and cleaned within 3-6 months to ensure that each hole in the fire-retardant layer is unblocked to prevent blockage and ensure safe and normal use. Regularly check whether the positive and negative valve discs of the breathing valve are flexible, and whether the guide rod and the valve disc contact the sealing surface are damaged. If there is damage, it should be replaced immediately. When inspecting and maintaining the re-installation of the breathing valve , it should be ensured that the joint surfaces in the valve are closely matched and the valve disc is lifted and lowered flexibly. When the breathing valve is activated, the anti-vibration between the valve discs should be cleared before installation, otherwise the breathing valve will fail . |
