All the mature larvae lived in the 3-6cm soil layer under the tree before the wintering. In the first-generation zone, phlegm began in mid-May, and eclosion and spawning began in early June. The occurrence period was not neat, and newly hatched larvae were seen in the middle of June and early August. In August, the most serious larvae occurred in August. They began to mature in late August. Into the soil, it is wintering. The 2-3 generations began to phlegm in mid-April and emerged in mid-May and early-June. The third generation larvae occur in the first ten months of September. The last mature larvae were introduced into the soil for wintering. Adults are often excavated at dusk, and they are nocturnal and dormant. They can mate after emergence and lay eggs 2 days later. They are spawned on the leaves. The egg period is about 7 days. The larvae have a total of 8 instars, and they can eat whole leaves from the 6th instar.

Control methods (1) Excavate the insects in the soil around the tree base to reduce the source of insects. (2) The larvae are sprayed with 80% dichlorvos EC 1200 times or 50% phoxim EC 1000 times, 50% malathion EC 1000 times, 25% iminophos EC 1000 times, 25% ICAS emulsifiable concentrate 1500 times, 5% Celestine EC 3000 times.

Mulch Films are a revolution in the agriculture industry as it presents an economical and environment friendly protective solution for crops and soil. It not only maintains the quality of soil but also aids in the faster growth of plants. By reflecting light, it ensures control on growth of weeds as photosynthesis process will not be carried out.
