Effects of slow-release fertilizer on grape yield

Slow-release fertilizer, also known as controlled-release fertilizer, can control the release rate of nutrients, release nutrients according to crop demand, extend fertilizer efficiency, maximize fertilizer use efficiency, and reduce environmental pollution. In order to explore the effect of slow-release fertilizer on grape yield, our district has carried out the following demonstrations:

1. Test materials. Fertilizer for test: Slow-release compound fertilizer (N15P4K6), containing 40% of fertilizer synergist, provided by Lanzhou Xinghehezhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.; 45% compound fertilizer (N15P15K15). The grape variety is Kyoho.

2. Demonstration settings. The treatment was 2.5 kg/strain of slow-release compound fertilizer, and the control was 2.5 kg/strain of 45% compound fertilizer. The demonstration is not duplicated, with an area of ​​1 mu, and processing and control of 0.5 mu each.

3. Demonstration of implementation. The demonstration was carried out in Zhang Sanhu's vineyard in Zhangjiacun, Dangba Township, Baocang City. The demonstration site is located in the Hechuan Chuandao Irrigation District, with an elevation of 550.6 meters. The land is flat and has medium fertility. The soil is fluvo-aquic soil and the texture is in the middle soil. The nutrient content is: organic matter 14.6 g/kg, alkaline nitrogen 92 mg/kg, available phosphorus 42.5 mg/kg, and available potassium 190 mg/kg. Soil nutrient determination methods: alkaline hydrolysis of nitrogen using alkaline solution diffusion method, quick-acting phosphorus using sodium bicarbonate extraction method, quick-acting potassium using ammonium acetate extraction - flame emission method. On March 29, the base fertilizer was applied, 5000 kg of organic fertilizer was applied to the Mushi, 1.5 kg of slow-release compound fertilizer was applied to the treatment zone, and 4 kg of compound fertilizer was applied to the control zone; 1.5 kg of compound fertilizer was applied to the control zone; the top dressing was applied on May 25, and the slow-release compound was applied on the treatment zone. 1 kilogram of fertilizer, 45% of compound fertilizer applied to the control area was 1 kilogram. Other management measures are the same as for regular vineyards.

4. Demonstration results. A “five-point sampling method” was used to investigate grape production in the demonstration area (results are shown in Table 1). The average yield per area was 4,306 kg in the treatment area, and the average yield was 3,628 kg in the control area. It can be seen that the slow-release compound fertilizer was more than 45% of the average compound fertilizer. Yield 678 kg, an increase of 18.7%. After a t-test on the demonstration results (see Table 2 for results), t>t0.01, indicating that the difference between the demonstration area and the control area yields a very significant level, indicating that grape slow-release compound fertilizer is more significant than other nutrients and compound fertilizers. Increase production effect.

5 Conclusion. According to the above-mentioned demonstration situation, the application of slow-release compound fertilizer on grapes in our region has a significant increase in production, and it is recommended to promote the use of large-area in production.
