1. Pond requirements: an area of ​​5-10 acres, pool water level maintained at 1.5 meters or more, a good water source, into the drainage system is convenient, the pool is not leaking water, the pool surface width of 2-3 meters, the pool bottom sludge 15 cm or less. 10 days before entering the pool, river crabs clear the pond with quick lime, and after 7 days water is stocked. The crabs were bred in pools before entering the pool.
2. Quality and quantity requirements: The cultivated crabs need to be free of disease, injury, complete appendages and strong vigor. Individuals are about 120 grams in size, and 500-600 kilograms of water per mu. The pond needs to be given aquatic plants such as water peanuts and black leaf algae. A suitable amount of snails to keep the crabs from falling out during feeding.
3. Day-to-day management requirements: (1) Water quality management: The crabs like a refreshing water environment and should maintain a certain water level during maintenance. Adjust the water exchange volume according to the size of the pool water and the capacity of inflow and drainage, the transparency is about 40 cm, and the ph value is 7.5-8. (2) Feed feeding: Feeding mainly animal feed, supplemented by vegetable feed, among which animal feed accounts for 60-70% of the total feed. When the water temperature is higher than 10°C, the daily feed is heavy. About 10% of it is fed in two batches, with 30-40% of the total daily amount in the morning and 60-70% in the afternoon. When the water temperature is lower than 10°C, the amount of bait is reduced by 3-5% until it stops feeding during hibernation.
