Cows before and after childbirth care

Second, the health of dairy cows. Allow the cows to enter the maternity room two weeks before the birth and perform health checks on the cows entering the delivery room. The cows should be washed with 2 to 3% of L.Z. Sol. solution before their delivery.
Third, wipe the yak mouth, nose mucus. When the calf's head shows vulva, use a sterile towel to wipe the mucus out of its mouth and nose.
Fourth, strengthen the care of cows. Cows should be allowed to stand up as soon as possible after delivery, and they should be fed with high-quality grass. At the same time, the breasts, hindquarters and oxtails should be washed with warm water or disinfectant, then the manure in the delivery room should be removed and the bedding replaced.
Fifth, to make calves eat colostrum. After the yak is born, it should be placed on the hay, wiped the body's mucus, weighed and put into the yak bar, and fed to the colostrum within 30 minutes of birth to allow the yak to produce antibodies as soon as possible.
Sixth, urge the cows to discharge the tires. Attention should be paid to observing the discharge of cow's placental clothing. If abnormalities are found, it should be dealt with promptly to promote the discharge of the placenta.
