Eggplant requirements for environmental conditions
(a) temperature
Eggplant is a thermophilic vegetable, which is relatively heat-resistant and not cold-resistant. The suitable temperature for growth is 20-30°C. (b) Sunshine

If the light is insufficient, the plant growth will be poor, the photosynthesis will be weakened, the yield will be reduced, and the pigment will not be easily formed.
(c) Moisture
Although eggplant has a well-developed root system, it has a large number of branches, a large leaf area, a strong transpiration effect, a large amount of water, and no drought tolerance, and it cannot bear water shortage especially during flowering. The soil moisture should be kept around 80%. Eggplant likes water but is afraid of cockroaches. If the groundwater level is high, poor drainage is likely to cause rot; rain, air humidity, pollination difficulties, and serious fruit drop, so pay attention to drainage in spring, summer and autumn.
(D) Soil Nutrition
Eggplant does not require strict soil, but it is better to use loam rich in organic matter, loose, and well-drained water. PH value of 6.8-7.3 is appropriate.
