Pond Crab Technology

Crab raising is rising all over the country. In order to promote the development of crab farming, the techniques for raising crabs in ponds are now described as follows:
First, the conditions of the pond pond crab breeding area is generally a l 2 acres, family farming can also be used to ten to several tens of meters square Xiaotang, water depth of about one meter, slope requirements greater, more than 1:2.5-3 . There are holes in the crabs to inhabit habits on the embankment. Therefore, small green tiles can be built on the slopes of the pool to form a crab nest for crabs. The area is about one-fifth of the water surface.
The crab can also live for several days away from the water. In order to prevent the escape, the pond should be fenced around. Generally, it is better to use a smooth glass plate to trap the bars. Some of them are fenced with brick walls, smooth cement boards, triangle iron plates, polyethylene films, etc. to prevent escape.
Second, seedlings in order to improve the survival rate of crab seedlings, crab ponds should be strictly clear pond, when the water should be strictly filtered to prevent the enemy from entering. The stocked fry can be collected locally or purchased. Such as stocking each 5-20 grams (dozens to hundreds of cats per catty) juvenile crabs, should be in winter and spring stocking, in order to improve the survival rate of juvenile crabs, extend the growth period, the general stocking 4000-8000 per mu; such as stocking Crabs, stocking time for the early summer, that is, from the end of May to the end of June, put 250 grams (about half a catty) per acre or so.
Third, feeding and management of crabs for omnivorous animals, like eating fish, shrimp, snails, snails and other animal feed, in particular, are particularly interested in rancid bodies, cereals, aquatic plants and grass also like to eat. Artificial feed, can feed Lv Ping, sweet potato, green vegetables, broken rice, rice bran and other feed, if conditions are available, can also be fed slaughter plant pigs, chickens, ducks and other leg organs or snails, carcasses, cockroaches and other animals feed. Crabs have nocturnal habits. They only go out for dinner at night. They usually feed once a day in the afternoon or evening. The feeding site should be fixed on the shallow water bank so that the food can be checked at any time. The number of feeds will be eaten the next morning. It's perfect.
Crabs are not resistant to fertilizer and are particularly sensitive to hypoxia, and because they live underwater, they are more likely to experience hypoxia. In addition, they have large food intake and excrement, and water quality tends to become fat and deteriorate, resulting in floating heads or death. Therefore, the crab ponds should be frequently changed water, the first time every 10 to 15 days for a water, summer and autumn high temperature season 2-3 days for water once, each time changing the water 5 cm (l 2 inch) or so.
In order to make full use of water and bait, economic turtles can be mixed in crab ponds. Generally, 200 to 400 tailed bream species are stocked per acre. Qing fish clock is between 30 and 50. In order to use plankton, crab bait, and excrement in the water, fish stocking should be reared on the crabs for 7 to 7 months. Ten days later.
Crabs often kill each other in the same way. Freshly shelled soft-shelled crabs tend to be preyed by other crabs. For this reason, aquatic plants can be planted in the shallow water area near the pool. At present, most of them are planted with water peanuts, and they are also known as “deserts”. In this way, crabs can hide in shells and hides to avoid being eaten. At the same time, aquatic plants can absorb the nutrients in the pool water, increase the water-soluble oxygen in the pool, and prevent water quality deterioration.
Fourth, the young crabs that are harvested in winter and spring can grow from 100 to 150 grams per year. The crabs that are stocked in the early summer can reach 50 to 100 grams at the end of the year. The second year can grow from 200 to 250 grams. Therefore, ponds such as juvenile crabs can be harvested by the end of the year and stocked crabs are harvested by the end of the second year. The time is generally arranged from January to December, when the crab is the most fat, and the natural crab market peak has passed, which is conducive to improving the economic benefits of pond crab cultivation. Crab fishing methods include: net catching, hand catching and so on.
