Prevention of Violet Bacterial Rot Disease

Symptoms: The disease occurs at the seedling stage and adult plants. The incidence of seedlings, the symptoms of the main stem was water-stained dark green soft rot, and later turned dark brown. In the adult stage, lesions appear on the stem near the ground. The lesions are irregular or surrounded by stems, dark brown, slightly sunken, cracking, causing the plants to die, and the diseased part has pus-like substances.
Pathogen: The pathogen is Xanthomonas campestrts pV.in-canae (Kendrick et Baker) Dye.
Onset of disease: Pathogens overwinter in diseased bodies and seeds and spread with seeds.
Prevention: 1 seed treatment before sowing. The seeds were soaked in warm water at 54°C for 10 minutes, then rapidly cooled and allowed to dry. 2 soil disinfection. 3 The diseased plants were found and cleared immediately. In the onset of the disease, streptomycin can be sprayed for prevention and treatment.
