Eliminating sheep fattening methods before slaughter

Winter is the season when many sheep are slaughtered. Ensuring that sheep are properly fattened before slaughter can significantly enhance both the yield and quality of the meat. A well-managed fattening process not only increases the weight gain but also improves the overall health and condition of the animals. Here are the key points to consider when fattening sheep for slaughter: First, deworming is essential. More than 80% of healthy sheep carry internal parasites. If not treated, these parasites will absorb most of the nutrients from the feed, leading to poor growth and reduced meat quality. Therefore, deworming should be done before starting the fattening process. Common deworming medications include: 1. Trichlorfon: Administer 0.1 grams per kilogram of body weight as a 1–3% solution by mouth. 2. Tetrazole (Insect Net): Use 0.02 grams per kilogram of body weight in a 5% solution. 3. Nitrochlorophenol: For sheep grazing in humid environments, administer 6–8 mg per kilogram of body weight orally. Note: These drugs should be given in the morning on an empty stomach. The feces should be removed promptly and properly composted to avoid re-infection. Second, feeding plays a crucial role in the fattening process. During this period, sheep should have limited exercise to conserve energy. It's best to feed them with a balanced compound feed. A typical daily ration includes: - 1.5–1.8 kg of hay or 2.5–3.0 kg of processed straw - 0.1 kg of corn flour - 0.1 kg of alfalfa - 0.1 kg of legumes If corn is scarce, the amount can be increased to 0.15 kg. Adjust the feed based on the animal’s weight gain. Feed twice a day—once at 6 a.m. and once at 5 p.m.—and provide warm water (around 30°C) after each meal. Third, proper management is vital. Store chopped straw inside the shed, and keep corn, beans, and bran in dry places. The sheep house should be kept warm and dry. If the original pens are large, build a wall about 1 meter high, 2–3 meters away from the shed, leaving a door in the middle. Place a wooden pole between the wall and the shed, cover it with plastic sheeting, and secure it with mud. Ensure there are ventilation holes to maintain air circulation. Regularly clean the pens, change the bedding, and prevent dampness, as excessive moisture can lead to respiratory issues, arthritis, and rickets, all of which can negatively impact the fattening process.

Anti Aging Raw Materials

As age increases, the skin gradually loses elasticity, wrinkles, and becomes loose and dull. Anti-aging aims to help slow down the process of the skin aging.
